The privacy statement is based on the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which regulates EU citizens’ rights to data protection and the confidentiality of their personal data.

NAME OF THE REGISTER

Contact Center Service

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

The registrar offers versatile Contact Center services to businesses and the public sector, e.g. chat service, operative service, professional service and customer service, IT HelpDesk, telemarketing, contact register services, overflow and service numbers. During this activity, the data controlled and owned by the registrar are stored in the service contracts related to the personal data of the registrar’s clients. For example, a customer’s phone calls to the customer support or other e-mail, text or chat messages may be recorded. The stored data can form a personal register.

A register is created to authenticate customer service business events, to develop customer service, to train customer service personnel and to manage customer relations related to the service in question.

Personal data is processed only to the extent that is necessary for the purposes of the register.

DATA CONTENT OF THE REGISTER

The register contains information received from the customer during Contact Center service production, such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address, personal identity number, business ID, voice recordings as a part of recorded phone calls, site usage statistics or link history on the site.

REGULAR DATA SOURCES

The register contains only information that has been provided by the user.

REGULAR DATA DISCLOSURE

Information may be disclosed from the registrar to the entities who have purchased Contact Center services, to whom the registrar provides a service agreed in the commission agreement. The information is not disclosed to third parties.

DELIVERY OF REGULATORY DATA AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU OR THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

The data is not transferred or delivered outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data is stored only for the period that is necessary for the purpose or for as long as the registrar is required to retain in by the law.

PRINCIPLES OF REGISTER PROTECTION

The registrar’s information system and files are protected by technical protection methods that are normally used in the business. The register is located in protected space with restricted access. The use of the register is confidential and the access is restricted to persons with a personal username and password who belong to the registrar staff and whose status and tasks require access rights. The registrar staff are bound to secrecy.

RIGHT TO REVIEW

Everybody has the right the check their personal records in the register. The right to review data is free of charge when performed once a year. Written and signed or otherwise reliably verified requests to review data must be delivered to the aforementioned person managing the personal register (tietosuoja@momentgroup.fi). A person’s identity is verified with a photo ID prior to disclosure of information.

RIGHT TO DEMAND FOR CORRECTION OF INFORMATION                 

Anyone who finds that his or her personal information in the register is incorrect, incomplete or has been processed in violation of the purpose of the register or applicable laws, is entitled to request correction, blocking, limitation or deletion of incorrect information in the register. The claim must be submitted in writing and sent to the person responsible for the above-mentioned personal register.

A person who finds that his rights under the EU Privacy Policy have been violated has the right to appeal to the supervisory authorities.

CHANGES IN PRIVACY POLICY

The registrar is constantly developing its functions and reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. Legislation may also change, so the content of the privacy statement must be reviewed on a regular basis.

USE OF COOKIES

We may collect information related to your computer through the use of cookies or other similar techniques. A cookie or a so-called cookie function is a small text file, which is sent to and stored in the user’s computer. It allows the website administrators to identify the frequent visitors on the site, facilitates the visitor’s signing into the websites and enables gathering compiled information about the visitors. With this feedback, we can continually improve the contents of our pages. Cookies do not damage the users’ computers or files. We use them in order to provide our customers with information and services tailored to individual needs.
